Heather Arave
Hello! My name is Heather Arave (Heater). I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 9 years. We have 5 kids ages 7-18 months, all girls except 4 boys! I started scrapbooking when it was cutting pictures into shapes and slapping stickers on a layout. I have been more serious about my scrapping since my oldest was born, almost 8 years ago. I love that I can tell a story through my pictures and that I am preserving memories. I love that my hubby supports me addiction because he has a gaming addiction of his own.
I can't wait to get to know you all and to see all the wonderful talent here. I am so excited to be apart of this growing community!
Brandy Cumberland
My name is Brandy Cumberland (scrapchickee) and I am currently a SAHM to my little man Dylan (06/05) and my spectacular husband, Jason. However, my career aspirations change with a breeze, so check with me tomorrow. I taught 12th grade IB English last school year and was working as a retail bank branch manager before that. We live in Houston, Texas where most of our family and friends live as well. Other than obviously being obsessed with scrapbooking, I also am in love with my Canon Rebel which is pretty much permanently affixed to my face, earning me the much deserved title of "Momarazzi."
I have always done some sort of scrapping all my life, but I got into the real deal stuff about four years ago when I met my best friend. What started out as a way of documenting all of life's going-ons has evolved into an art form. I love cutting up patterned paper and combining different elements, and layouts have given way to cards, altered projects and now I am even trying digital scrapbooking. One of the greatest things I've gotten out of this hobby I've found on the different membership boards - relationships with amazing women who I might not have met otherwise. I am ecstatic to be a part of this creative team, to be a part of the smashing success that I know Simply Obsessed is going to be, and to help support Jaime and Shauna's dream.
Michelle Lanning
Hello, my name is Michelle Lanning (Michelle*L). I live in beautiful sunny California and married to my high school sweetheart. We have one beautiful daughter Alyson that is 3.5 years old. When I am not scrapping, I am a first grade teacher.
I started scrapping in high school, little things here and there but nothing serious until after I got married. That first album took a long time to complete, but it was not until the birth of my daughter that I was completely hooked. Since then my style has evolved but my subjects have stayed the same. Family and everyday moments are so important to me to capture in my scrapbooking. The little moments that you don't want to forget.
I have been lucky enough to have been published in magazines such ad Scrapbook Trends, Memory Makers, and Cards. It really is the icing on top of the cake for me, and so is being on the Simply Obsessed Design Team - I can't wait to get started!
Deanna Misner
Hi! I'm Deanna Misner (DMisner). I've been married to my wonderful husband for six years and I'm a stay-at-home mom to our two little girls. And when I'm not scrapbooking you can find me coaching volleyball, playing outside with the girls, or doing my best to be a momma-razzi.(My camera goes with me everywhere I go.)
When I started scrapbooking six years ago, I had no clue that the hobby would become my passion or that it would teach me to enjoy the simple everyday moments of my life. As my style and my layouts have evolved I've learned to appreciate more about life. Not only has scrapbooking has taught me to capture life as I know it, but I've also learned to enjoy the process of the hobby. I've decided that for me it's okay not the be "caught up". Instead to enjoy what initially drew me in. I love to cut, ink, stamp, distress, paint, and create! I like trying new techniques, and I like that I give myself permission to play. Through scrapbooking I've learned to love life, create often, and enjoy the process!
I'm thrilled to be a part of the Simply Obsessed Design Team! I love the site, love the girls here, and love the kits that Shauna and Jamie put together!
Brandi Pitts
My name is Brandi Pitts (drewsmama) and I'm from East Texas. I have been married to my husband, Jason, for 11 years. I recently left my teaching job to become a SAHM to our sweet baby girl, Drew Elizabeth. I started scrapping at the age of 4, when my mom and I created a scrapbook out of magazine clippings, catalog pictures, and stickers. I've been scrapping the "right way" for about 9 years now and I'm hopelessly addicted. I'm totally obsessed with alphabets—stickers, die cuts, rub-ons. You name it and I've got to have it! I am so excited to be a part of this design team and I hope that I will be an inspiration to everyone here.
Sarah Rice
My name is Sarah Rice (HerHighness68), I'm 29 from Massillon, Ohio. Matt, my husband of 2 years, and I plan on starting a family in the next few years. I work full time as a bartender to pay the bills and I'm on the board of a non profit that helps children with cancer. Im an obsessed scrapbooker and Im very passionate about my art. I feel the need to do something creative everyday.I also love to decoupage, alter, paint pottery, make jewelry and stamp. I adore mini books. Im an alumni of Penn State University and Im very into college football. I also cheer for the state ranked local high school team.
My scrap style is layered funky 8.5x11and I love to make cards. I am a founding member of the Caardvarks challenge blog. I love to try new things. Im super excited to be designing for Simply Obsessed and I cant wait to learn more with all of you.

Hello, my name is Erika Schumacher (ess). I have been with my husband for 11 years and we have 3 wonderful children, 11, 7 and 2.
To start I have been a crafter since I was a toddler. My mother taught me to knit, crochet, sew and cross-stitch. I have always kept some type of scrapbook or journal since I was young. However, I really became involved in official scrapping about 7 years ago, when a friend introduced me to all the wonderful products and needless to say, I have been hooked since then. I scrap 12x12 pages, as well as mini-albums, but not opposed to trying new styles and sizes. I try to mix up double and single, but take a stance, I will do whatever the photos or event calls for.
Scrapbooking is my therapy, however I wish I could say it saves me money, but I think it is the same expense as a real therapist; I just do not have to make an appointment. Scrapping has allowed me to be an artist, which is my all time passion. I believe it is an outlet with so many benefits and pay offs. I only hope that I can inspire others to treasure their memories and remind them, there is no such thing as a mistake in scrapping.

Jenni Smith
Hi! My name is Jenni Smith (jgj27) and I am 27 years old. I live in northern California with my husband of almost 7 years, and two little boys, both of whom are my main scrapping subjects. I started scrapbooking over 4 years ago, right around the time my first son was born. I wanted to find a way to preserve and record the memories of our family and found scrapbooking to be the perfect answer!
My favorite scrapping supplies right now are chipboard, journaling spots, anything sheer and stamps of all kinds. A few of my favorite manufacturers include Scenic Route , Maya Road and American Crafts. As I scrap, I will often be caught with a handful of Mike and Ikes, Sweedish Fish or chocolate...a girl's gotta have her sweets! When I'm not scrapping, I can be found running or working out, baking, reading, shopping, or spending time with my family. I have grown to love Simply Obsessed … I've been a member of the boards and kit club since SO began and it's been so fun to see how it's grown in such a short time. I am so honored and excited to be a part of the Simply Obsessed design team and hope to be able to be an inspiration to all of you!
